Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Skills for OCD treatment (Live role plays of key skills)
£70.00
The Centre is pleased to offer an online workshop on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Skills for OCD Treatment, led by Centre Directors Stuart Ralph and Jonny Say.
When: Friday 16th January 2026, 12pm UK / 7am New York (3 hours)
Who for: Qualified and trainee counsellors, psychotherapists, and psychologists experienced in working with OCD.
This training focuses on the practical ACT tools we use in OCD therapy. A basic understanding of ACT and the hexaflex is recommended, as the emphasis will be on skills rather than theory.
What you’ll learn:
A sequence of core ACT tools for working with intrusive thoughts, emotions, and urges.
Skills to strengthen motivation through values and workability.
How to apply tools in sessions through live demonstration and role play.
Approaches to overcome common barriers to ERP and ACT.
Increased confidence to integrate ACT with ERP, improving engagement and reducing dropout.
The final segment will be a live Q&A, allowing discussion of client examples and challenges (not included in the replay).
On-Demand Training
You don’t have to join us live to benefit from our training. Every past session is recorded and available on demand, giving you the freedom to learn at your own pace and revisit the material whenever you need to.
Each recording is accessible for 6 months from the date of purchase, and anyone who books a live training automatically receives on-demand access as part of their purchase
